Alert: Your Voice as an Undeniable Wall of Sound
We lost the vote for cloture 49-42, meaning the bill is still in limbo. But the bill is not dead, so now we must activate and not allow the Senate off the hook for Safety and Airline Passengers Rights. We must become a constant Wall of Sound that they MUST listen to. We need you now more than ever.
Your Voice is Our
Voice
The need for protecting our rights is critical, and the number of
people on our side is impressive. While Senators think our numbers are
important, hearing your voice is persuasive. Everyone who works for you
day in and day out are volunteers – people pushed or pulled by events to get
more involved. We’re just like you. Now we need YOU.
We need you to call your Senators and Congress members and keep calling until we get this done. Send a fax. Send an email. Go to their office and ask to speak with them. We need this bill signed into law this summer. It’s up to you. It’s time to stop watching and start acting. We need a WALL of sound in the Senate between now and the end of June.
See How Your Senators
Voted
Below is a list, by state, of how each Senator voted on the cloture
motion to move the bill out of filibuster. Reach out to your Senators and tell
them you’re pleased with their Yea vote and ask them to push their colleagues
for change… or tell your Senator you’re disappointed with their Nay vote, and
push them to support the Passengers’ Bill of Rights.
U.S. Senate Roll Call Votes 110th Congress - 2nd Session as compiled through Senate LIS by the Senate Bill Clerk under the direction of the Secretary of the Senate.

can sign up to donate automatically on a monthly basis. This makes it easier
for many to give a small amount per month rather than large chunks of money
annually. To sign up, please go to our Web site and
select the monthly contribution of your choice. Credit cards or PayPal can
still be used for single donations. For the monthly subscription, you will need
to set up a PayPal account. It's easy! The buttons will walk you through the
steps.
Remember, we are non-profit. No one gets paid from these donations. All monetary contributions pay for our bulk email service, Web site and travel expenses. Truly, it’s your dollars working for you.
We Need Hotline
Volunteers
The hotline (1-877-FLYERS6) is going strong, and we need more
volunteers to help with the calls. We need volunteers to answer calls for just a
few hours a week. If you can help, please email Kate.
Do Something
Don’t wait to
hear from us. Don’t wait for the Senate to sit on their collective hands. Call.
